Leipzig’s 4-Star Ramada hotel has completed a digital audio upgrade to the latest technology using Rane’s HAL System. The 1,000 square meter (10,800 sq. ft.), 15 meeting room conference center offers soundproof walls, modern presentation technology, and high-speed wi-fi. Every room opens to a landscaped park-like space for peaceful breaks from meetings.
Consultants at Sparling in Seattle designed a HAL1 system into a Pacific Northwest University lecture hall. Delta AV in Gresham, OR, are doing the installation. Two classrooms can be combined. Each room requires 75 push-to-talk mics for students – one at every other desk. The 150 student mics mute locally, and a variety of teachers’ mics and laptop RAD feeds tackle the instructor audio.
